Appeal following crackdown on off-road bikes |

Officers are increasing patrols in areas of Endon, Ball Green, Norton and Smallthorne following persistent use of off-road bikes. The local policing team are keen to identify the riders of a small white off-road bike which was seen being driven erratically on Leek Road in Endon at around 3.20pm on Monday (13 October). The bike has black and red on it and has previously been spotted in the Ball Green and Norton areas, as well as Smallthorne Bank, last weekend. The riders, who are believed to be teenage boys, were wearing balaclavas and dressed in all black. Officers have liaised with a nearby school and are continuing to conduct inquiries locally.
